Sales Officer – Client Relationship & Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Officer to join our Kathmandu office and support the Retail and Food Services teams of Himal Tea Industries – Rakura Group. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, supporting sales activities, and ensuring excellent customer service for our tea products.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, complaints and follow‑up communication.
• Promote company products to existing and potential customers to help achieve sales targets.
• Maintain accurate client records, update databases and prepare regular reports on interactions and outcomes.
• Gather client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assist in planning client engagement events.
• Monitor inventory levels, process client orders and coordinate delivery logistics when required.
• Visit client locations to strengthen relationships, collect feedback and provide product demonstrations.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Organised and detail‑oriented, capable of maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within the Retail and Food Services teams.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
