Sales Officer – Mahindra Vehicles

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Officer to join our Mahindra sales team in Balaju, Kathmandu. The role focuses on generating leads, presenting vehicles, and achieving monthly sales targets through both showroom and field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads via showroom visits, phone calls, digital enquiries, referrals and field visits.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Mahindra vehicles.
• Explain vehicle features, pricing, financing options and promotional offers.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Follow up leads, convert inquiries into sales and maintain accurate records.
• Develop relationships with individual, corporate and fleet customers.
• Coordinate with finance, insurance, service and delivery teams for smooth hand‑over.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer preferences.
• Participate in exhibitions, roadshows and promotional campaigns.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, business administration or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in automobile, FMCG, banking, insurance or B2B sales (fresh graduates with strong communication skills are welcome).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to travel for field sales and possess a valid two‑wheeler driving licence (preferred).

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting.
