Salesperson

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Salesperson to join Gurukul Setu in Kathmandu. The role focuses on promoting our school management SaaS platform to educational institutions across Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach schools and other educational institutions to generate new business opportunities.
• Deliver product demonstrations and clearly explain platform features, benefits, and value proposition.
• Manage leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline, follow up with prospects, and support onboarding.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, gather user feedback, and relay insights to internal teams.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine sales strategies and positioning.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and keep accurate activity records.
• Represent Gurukul Setu professionally at meetings, events, and presentations.

Required profile

• Proven sales and negotiation experience in B2B or software solution selling, preferably in education or technology.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate technical concepts into simple language.
• Strong relationship‑building ability and disciplined pipeline management.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and capable of working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in local languages and strong English proficiency; familiarity with the Kathmandu and broader Nepal education market is a plus.
