Senior Accountant – Construction & Trading

About the role

Vedalaya Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Kalikot District. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the company’s construction and trading operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, process accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow monitoring activities.
• Oversee tax compliance, coordinate external audits, and implement internal controls.
• Provide financial insights to management and project teams to aid strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in construction, trading, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of tax regulations and audit processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
