Senior Accountant

About the role

Pacific Engineering Co. is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage its accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and provide timely financial reporting and analysis to support management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial activities.
• Prepare annual and periodic budget forecasts and monitor performance against approved budgets.
• Produce projected balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other required financial reports.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial ledgers regularly.
• Calculate applicable taxes and ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate accounting records between project/site accounts and the Head Office.
• Monitor and report on the company’s financial health, liquidity, and overall financial position.
• Review and audit financial transactions, supporting documents, and ensure compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure data security.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (60 months as indicated).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and tax regulations.
• Ability to work with multiple project sites and coordinate with various departments.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
