Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead Award Global’s Kathmandu finance team, ensuring accurate, timely, and well‑controlled financial operations and reporting across the Group. This hands‑on leader will own the end‑to‑end finance process, drive continuous improvement, and build a disciplined, service‑oriented finance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the Kathmandu Finance Team, setting KPIs, performance expectations and succession plans.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, month‑end and year‑end close, and ensure all journal entries, reconciliations and adjustments are accurate.
• Produce management reports with clear analysis of performance, risks and variances.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors, providing required information on time.
• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, working with department heads to prepare realistic revenue, expense and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget, investigate material variances and advise senior management.
• Support the development of finance outsourcing and BPO capabilities in Kathmandu.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a finance team in a multinational environment.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Excellent analytical and commercial understanding, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
• Effective communicator and coach, able to develop technical capability within the team.
