Senior HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Officer to lead key HR functions at Kalash Services. The role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management and supporting the overall HR strategy for our growing BPO operations in Kathmandu.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and selection, from job posting to onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, confirmations, transfers, promotions and exit processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Develop, implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and ensure confidentiality.
• Support employee engagement, welfare and retention initiatives.
• Monitor attendance, leave and other HR‑related records.
• Assist performance management and employee evaluation cycles.
• Organize training and development programs based on needs.
• Prepare HR, recruitment and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Nepal labour laws and HR best practices.
• Provide guidance to employees and department heads on HR matters.
• Supervise and support junior HR team members as required.
• Perform additional HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a BPO or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, HR operations and performance management.
• Familiarity with Nepal labour laws and employment regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Organized with strong time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Experience with HRMS or other HR‑related information systems.
