Social Teacher - Lower Secondary

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Teacher to deliver Social Studies to Lower Secondary students. The role involves creating an engaging, supportive learning environment and applying strong subject knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and classroom activities.
• Explain social, historical, geographical, cultural, and civic concepts clearly.
• Use interactive, student‑centered teaching methods to foster participation and critical thinking.
• Assess student learning through tests, assignments, and classwork.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Keep accurate records of attendance, performance, and academic progress.
• Communicate with parents and administration regarding student progress.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training, school events, and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Dedicated, passionate, and experienced teacher with at least 12 months of relevant experience.
• Strong subject knowledge in Social Studies and effective classroom management skills.
