Steward – Hotel Kitchen Support

About the role

Hotel Dachi is seeking a full‑time Steward to join its back‑of‑house team in Bhaktapur, Nepal. The Steward will ensure the kitchen, dishwashing area and related service spaces remain clean, hygienic and ready for daily operations, supporting both Food & Beverage and kitchen teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishwashing stations, utensils, equipment and workstations.
• Organise, store and replenish supplies for the Food & Beverage department.
• Assist in setting up and clearing buffet and service stations.
• Support basic food preparation tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling according to hotel standards.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and hotel operating procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic literacy and numeracy with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle cleaning equipment.
• Commitment to teamwork, punctuality and an inclusive attitude.
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
