Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer will ensure the smooth and timely flow of products from procurement through to final delivery. This role coordinates purchasing, inventory, logistics, suppliers and internal teams while maintaining accuracy and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to secure timely product availability, follow up on purchase orders and delivery schedules, and verify supplier documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular counts, enforce FIFO practices, and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Oversee inbound, storage, transfer and outbound warehouse activities, ensuring proper bin allocation and accurate stock mapping in Odoo.
• Work with transport teams to plan and monitor deliveries, verify dispatch quantities, and address delivery delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate transaction records in Odoo for purchases, receipts, transfers, dispatches and returns, and verify system data against physical stock.
• Track product demand, collaborate with sales, marketing, procurement and warehouse teams to prevent stock‑outs, and prepare replenishment plans.
• Ensure all supply‑chain documents (purchase orders, invoices, challans, etc.) are complete and compliant with company SOPs.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory, procurement, supplier performance and delivery status, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management or logistics operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile data discrepancies.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP system.
