Supply Chain Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Officer to manage end‑to‑end procurement, inventory and logistics processes for our manufacturing operations in Kathmandu. The role ensures timely purchase, efficient stock handling and smooth dispatch of finished goods while maintaining cost control and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Track purchase indents, purchase orders and monitor procurement status.
• Negotiate with vendors, coordinate pricing and oversee purchase rates.
• Collaborate with warehouse and transport teams to guarantee timely dispatch and delivery.
• Maintain VCTS documentation and ensure timely freight bill submission.
• Monitor raw material and packaging material stock levels, shelf life, shortages and near‑expiry items.
• Ensure finished‑goods dispatch follows FIFO and monitor slow‑moving or low‑shelf‑life products.
• Work with sales and factory teams on stock liquidation and scrap management.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree completed.
• At least 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation and vendor‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
