Talent Acquisition Officer

About the role

Himalayan Java Coffee is looking for a full‑time Talent Acquisition Officer to join its team in Kathmandu. You will own the end‑to‑end recruitment cycle, from crafting job ads to welcoming new hires, while championing the company’s “Think Local” values.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and publish job postings for a variety of roles across hospitality, retail and support functions.
• Source, screen and shortlist candidates, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint.
• Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and provide timely feedback.
• Manage offer negotiations and support onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate basic HR reports.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives that reflect local culture and community engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or HR, preferably within hospitality, retail or related sectors.
• Strong ability to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Nepali language skills are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in local culture, community projects and the coffee or hospitality industry.
