Tech Sales Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tech Sales Officer to join our Sales & Business Development team. The role focuses on identifying client needs, recommending appropriate IT solutions, and driving revenue growth. Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in technology are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, social media, networking, and other channels.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT products and services.
• Present and demonstrate software, websites, mobile applications, and other technology solutions to potential clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and sales documentation.
• Follow up with leads throughout the sales process and maintain professional client relationships.
• Coordinate with technical and development teams to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated.
• Negotiate pricing, project scope, and terms when required.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, follow‑ups, and sales activities.
• Meet individual and team sales targets and provide regular sales reports to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT sales, software sales, B2B sales, or business development (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of software development, websites, mobile applications, and digital solutions.
• Knowledge of CRM and lead management tools.
• Familiarity with SaaS and cloud services.
