Techno‑Commercial Officer – Pharma APIs & Excipients

About the role

Shree Chemicals seeks a Techno‑Commercial Officer to expand its Pharmaceutical Ingredients business in Nepal. The role blends technical product knowledge with commercial acumen to drive sales of APIs, excipients and other pharmaceutical additives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales of pharmaceutical APIs, excipients and additives across Nepalese manufacturers.
• Visit pharmaceutical companies regularly and engage with purchase, R&D/formulation, production, QA/QC and management teams.
• Identify new business opportunities through new products, customers and applications.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Coordinate product samples, technical documentation, quotations, trials and approvals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order conversion and follow‑up.
• Gather market intelligence on demand, competitor offerings, pricing and industry trends.
• Prepare sales reports, visit reports, pipeline forecasts and support new ingredient introductions.

Required profile

• B.Tech or equivalent degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field.
• Prior experience with pharmaceutical companies in Nepal is mandatory.
• Background in B2B sales, business development, procurement or product management within the pharma sector.
• Familiarity with the local pharmaceutical ecosystem and supply chain.

• Knowledge of excipients and formulation additives.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Ability to negotiate and close commercial deals.
