Territory Sales Officer

About the role

The Territory Sales Officer will be based in Birtamod Municipality and will drive sales growth for Himgiri Hygiene’s portfolio of laundry and hygiene products. The role focuses on expanding the distributor and retailer network, ensuring product availability, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Visit retail outlets and distributors regularly to build relationships and monitor stock levels.
• Expand and manage the distributor and retailer network within the assigned territory.
• Implement trade promotions, marketing activities, and ensure product visibility.
• Conduct market surveys, gather competitor and consumer insights, and report sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain and accounts teams for timely delivery, billing, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in territory sales, channel management, or field‑based business development in FMCG.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation and influencing abilities with distributors and retailers.
• Ability to plan sales activities, achieve targets and analyse basic performance data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable with independent fieldwork, regular market visits and on‑site responsibilities.
• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; FMCG sales experience preferred.
