Tours Consultant Officer – Travel & Tourism

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused Tours Consultant Officer to join our Tours & Travel department. The successful candidate will design customized travel itineraries, manage bookings, and provide end‑to‑end support for domestic and international tours.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand travel requirements, preferences and budgets.
• Design and recommend customized domestic and international tour packages.
• Prepare itineraries, quotations and proposals.
• Handle flight, hotel, transportation, sightseeing and other travel‑related bookings.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, hotels, airlines, DMCs and other partners.
• Provide accurate information on destinations, visas and travel documents.
• Manage client inquiries via phone, email, social media and other channels.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Process changes, cancellations, refunds and address customer concerns professionally.
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets and keep accurate records of bookings and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Management or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in an international tours and travel company.
• Strong knowledge of international tour packages and travel destinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.
• Good negotiation, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with online travel platforms.
• Knowledge of GDS or airline reservation systems (advantage).
