Admission and Counseling Officer

About the role

IHM College is seeking a dynamic Admission and Counseling Officer to manage prospective student enquiries, guide candidates and their families through the admission process, and support the college’s outreach activities. The role combines front‑line communication, record‑keeping, and coordination with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Handle enquiries from students and parents via phone, email, social media, and walk‑ins.
• Provide accurate information on courses, eligibility, fees, scholarships, and career pathways.
• Conduct counseling sessions and admission consultations.
• Follow up with prospects to convert enquiries into enrollments.
• Maintain and update admission records, enquiry databases, and student documents.
• Assist applicants with forms, documentation, payments, orientation, and other requirements.
• Support admission campaigns, orientations, exhibitions, and promotional events.
• Prepare daily and weekly admission and enquiry reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth admission experience.
• Contribute to the college’s social‑media and digital promotion efforts when needed.
