AI Training Facilitator – National Consultant

About the role

UNICEF Nepal, in partnership with the National Health Education, Information, Communication Center (NHEICC), seeks an experienced AI Training Facilitator to design and deliver a competency‑based artificial‑intelligence training programme focused on Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) and Risk Communication & Community Engagement (RCCE). The consultant will work directly with government officials to strengthen their ability to create high‑quality digital communication materials.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with UNICEF Nepal and NHEICC to finalise training objectives, agenda and curriculum.
• Develop a comprehensive AI training package, including presentations, exercises, case studies, role‑plays and participatory learning tools.
• Facilitate a one‑day training session in August 2026 and two half‑day sessions in October and November 2026.
• Provide guidance on AI‑enhanced SBC and RCCE content creation and institutionalisation within government workflows.
• Document lessons learned and recommend next steps for scaling AI‑based communication tools.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering AI‑related training or capacity‑building programmes.
• Familiarity with SBC, RCCE and public‑health communication contexts.
• Strong facilitation and adult‑learning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government partners and international organisations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of artificial‑intelligence concepts applicable to content design.
• Experience creating training materials and interactive learning activities.
