Airline Ticketing Officer

About the role

Berkeley Travel and Tourism is seeking an experienced Airline Ticketing Officer to handle airline reservations, ticketing, and related travel services. The role requires strong customer focus and hands‑on expertise with major GDS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Process airline reservations and ticketing using Galileo, Amadeus, and Sabre.
• Search flight availability, prepare quotations, make bookings, and issue tickets.
• Handle ticket re‑issuance, revalidation, rebooking, and cancellations.
• Check flight schedules, fares, fare rules and perform fare calculations.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve travel‑related issues.
• Follow up on visa applications, ticketing, bookings and other travel arrangements.
• Stay updated on airline policies, visa requirements, travel regulations and destination entry rules.

Required profile

• Minimum +2 or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in airline ticketing and travel agency operations.
• Practical knowledge of Galileo, Amadeus and Sabre GDS.
• Good understanding of international travel procedures, airline policies and visa requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and online booking systems.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
