Assistant Manager – Sales

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Sales to lead our commercial passenger vehicle sales in the Pokhara region. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Lead, guide, and monitor the sales team to ensure they achieve their goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with transport companies, fleet owners, institutions, and corporate clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Handle key accounts, negotiate sales deals, and close major contracts.
• Conduct market analysis, track competitor activity, and monitor market trends.
• Plan and conduct customer visits, product presentations, and business meetings.
• Coordinate with management, marketing, finance, and after‑sales teams for smooth operations.
• Review sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.
• Provide market insights and recommend strategies for business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in automobile, commercial vehicle or bus sales, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in B2B, fleet, institutional or corporate sales is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the Pokhara market.
• Willingness to travel as required.
