Audio Distribution Operations Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an Audio Distribution Operations Assistant to support the preparation, formatting, and submission of audio content for Ring Back Tone (RBT) services. The role involves close collaboration with telecom operators and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of audio clips and metadata.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and trim song clips to highlight the most engaging sections for RBT use.
• Prepare, format, and submit audio files and associated metadata to distribution platforms and telecom operators.
• Coordinate with operators to resolve any content or metadata issues and track submission status.
• Maintain operational trackers in Microsoft Excel, documenting song lists, clip status, conversion status, and submission outcomes.
• Organise and archive digital records, ensuring consistent naming conventions and easy retrieval.
• Support daily RBT operations, contribute to workflow improvements, and help scale processes.
• Operate content management systems and internal dashboards, adapting quickly to new tools.
• Perform audio file conversions across formats such as MP3, WAV, and FLAC.

Required profile

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and conditional formatting.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of audio software and common audio file formats.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Willingness and ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
