Business Development Manager – International Education

About the role

The Official Representative is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand its university and agent network across key international markets. This senior‑level position focuses on driving student recruitment partnerships and delivering measurable results for both partners and students.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business partnerships with universities, colleges, and education consultancies in the assigned region.
• Manage and strengthen existing agent and partner relationships to maximise placement volumes and conversion rates.
• Represent the organisation at education fairs, networking events, and university visits locally and internationally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth application processing, partner support, and timely communication.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, partnership performance, and regional market developments.
• Contribute market intelligence and new opportunity ideas to the overall growth strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international education, student recruitment, or business development within the education sector.
• Strong communication, presentation, and counselling abilities with professional engagement at all levels.
• Proven relationship‑building and networking capabilities with universities, agents, and institutional partners.
• Solid understanding of international university admission processes, visa requirements, and recruitment trends.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working independently while contributing to a team.
