Business Development Manager

About the role

Our client in the workplace wellbeing platform industry is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow their client base and enhance sales processes. This hands‑on role combines field work with strategic planning, involving client meetings, deal closing, and input on marketing and sales structures.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients, partners, and new market segments.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
• Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Build long‑term relationships with existing clients and grow accounts.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, promotions, and positioning based on field insights.
• Work with marketing on collateral, offers, and lead‑generation activities.
• Track competitor pricing, offers, and market trends.
• Help design and improve the sales process, lead flow, follow‑up cycles, and conversion tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and client interactions.
• Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing or B2B sales, preferably in tech, HR or wellness.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving license (field visits required).
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Experience with CRM systems (preferred).
