Cash and Voucher Assistance Coordinator

About the role

The Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Coordinator will lead planning, coordination and quality implementation of cash, voucher and cash‑for‑work interventions under the RISE rapid activation response in Nuwakot District.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CVA programming, translating assessments into implementation plans and ensuring timely, appropriate assistance to targeted households.
• Map and engage financial service providers, establish payment mechanisms for both banked and unbanked beneficiaries, and resolve payment‑related issues.
• Represent WVI Nepal in Cash Coordination Group meetings and coordinate with government, UN agencies, INGOs and local partners to avoid duplication.
• Conduct market, feasibility and transfer‑value analyses to set appropriate cash amounts and monitor market conditions.
• Prepare regular implementation updates, management reports and donor reports, and provide technical support to field staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Agriculture, Disaster Management or related field.
• At least five years of progressive experience in cash and voucher assistance, humanitarian response or programme coordination.
• Experience working with local government, humanitarian coordination mechanisms and multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
