Finance Trainee

About the role

World Vision International Nepal offers a one‑year Finance Trainee program for fresh Nepali graduates. The role provides practical experience in financial accounting, reporting, and administration while supporting the National Office Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal vouchers and record them in SunSystem under supervision.
• Manage petty cash payments, maintain records, and issue petty cash vouchers.
• Process bank deposits, prepare receipt vouchers, and reconcile cash and bank statements monthly.
• Maintain systematic filing of hard‑copy and electronic documents according to the FFM manual.
• Assist in compiling supplier information and support the Payment team with documentation for timely payments.
• Record employee expense reports (EER) following World Vision finance guidelines.
• Support tax deposit preparation, verify TAX and VAT documents using e‑TDS, and issue e‑TDS certificates to suppliers.
• Provide documentation for statutory and donor audits as required.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting theory and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with financial reporting concepts is preferred.
