Coffee Roaster

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Coffee Roaster to join our production team in Kathmandu. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining roasting equipment to produce high‑quality roasted coffee beans that meet our strict flavor and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor coffee roasting equipment throughout each batch.
• Select, weigh, and prepare green coffee beans for roasting.
• Adjust roasting parameters to achieve target flavor profiles.
• Perform quality control checks on roasted beans and record results.
• Maintain detailed roast logs and documentation.
• Clean and service roasting equipment and work area.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new blends and roasting techniques.
• Package roasted beans for distribution and assist with inventory management.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience roasting coffee beans.
• Strong sense of taste and smell with knowledge of coffee origins.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work closely with production staff and follow detailed procedures.

Required skills

• Operation of coffee roasting equipment.
• Quality control and record‑keeping for roasted products.
