Factory Manager – Bakery Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and result‑oriented Factory Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our bakery production facility. The role involves overseeing production, ensuring product quality and food‑safety compliance, and optimizing resources to meet business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and monitor daily, weekly and monthly bakery production activities.
• Ensure timely production and delivery of bakery products while maintaining consistent quality.
• Manage machinery, equipment, raw‑material usage and inventory of packaging and finished goods.
• Develop, implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and food‑safety standards.
• Lead, schedule, train and evaluate production staff, fostering a high‑performance team.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, quality control and distribution teams for smooth operations.
• Identify production issues, minimise waste and implement cost‑control measures.
• Maintain cleanliness, equipment maintenance and workplace safety.
• Prepare accurate production records and regular operational reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience managing bakery or food‑production operations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and quality regulations.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
