Electrical Overseer

About the role

Lumbini Medical College & Teaching Hospital is seeking an experienced Electrical Overseer to ensure reliable and safe electrical services across the hospital campus. The role involves supervising maintenance teams, coordinating repairs, and guaranteeing compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all electrical systems and installations within the hospital premises.
• Conduct regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and infrastructure.
• Monitor power supply, distribution networks, generators, and UPS systems.
• Identify electrical faults and coordinate timely troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and hospital safety requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status.
• Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and other departments for electrical works.
• Oversee electrical installation and maintenance projects to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
• Perform other electrical‑related duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• At least 60 months (5 years) of experience in electrical maintenance, supervision, or a related field.
