Finance & Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to lead accounting, compliance, budgeting, payroll and operational processes. The role works closely with senior management to support business planning and enhance financial efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Reporting: Maintain complete books of accounts, including voucher entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports (MIS). Track revenue, receipts and settlements from domestic and international operations. Analyse financial performance and provide actionable business insights.
• Tax & Compliance: Prepare and file VAT, TDS and income tax returns through the IRD portal. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Manage filings with the Office of Company Registrar, CIT and other authorities. Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Prepare annual budgets and rolling cash‑flow forecasts. Monitor budgets, analyse variances and recommend corrective actions. Support business planning, investment analysis and financial decision‑making. Track key financial and operational performance indicators.
• Operations & Administration: Manage payroll processing, vendor payments and expense reimbursements. Oversee procurement, vendor contracts and commercial agreements. Support day‑to‑day office administration and operational activities. Develop and improve financial and operational processes for greater efficiency.

Required profile

• Semi‑qualified CA with 2+ years of experience, or MBA/Master’s in Finance with 3+ years, or Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting with 5+ years.
• Strong experience with VAT, TDS, income tax and IRD compliance.
• Valid driving licence and two‑wheeler.
• Experience in SaaS or subscription businesses is an advantage.
