Food Technologist – Entry Level

About the role

The Food Technologist will support food quality, safety and production processes in a professional food‑industry environment. This entry‑level role offers practical experience in quality control, laboratory testing and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support food production and processing activities according to established procedures.
• Assist in maintaining food quality and safety standards throughout production.
• Conduct basic quality checks and inspections of raw materials and finished products.
• Help monitor processing parameters, sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Participate in laboratory testing, quality control activities and record keeping.
• Support implementation of GMP, GHP and HACCP practices.
• Identify and report quality issues, and coordinate with production and QC teams.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented and eager to learn in a food‑production setting.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food technology, processing and safety.
• Understanding of quality control, quality assurance and hygiene practices.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and HACCP principles.
• Experience with basic laboratory testing and quality inspection.
