GT Supervisor – General Trade Sales

About the role

PS Group is seeking a motivated GT Supervisor to lead General Trade sales activities across the assigned territory. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and ensuring product availability and visibility in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day General Trade sales operations within the territory.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key outlets.
• Plan and execute market visits to ensure proper outlet coverage and product availability.
• Coordinate distribution, visibility and merchandising initiatives.
• Guide and supervise sales representatives and field sales teams.
• Monitor primary and secondary sales, prepare regular sales reports.
• Ensure timely order collection, delivery coordination and follow‑up on outstanding payments.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
• Address market and customer issues, coordinating with relevant departments for resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in General Trade sales, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of local market, distribution channels and retail network.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage field sales activities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Leadership experience supervising or coordinating sales teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
• Two‑wheeler ownership and a valid driving license are an advantage.
