Head of Maintenance & Electrical Engineering – Flour Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Maintenance & Electrical Engineering to lead the upkeep and continuous improvement of our flour manufacturing plant in Birgunj. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation of all production equipment, electrical systems, utilities, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance strategies that maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance of production machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, and plant utilities.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to guarantee uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, engineering, and statutory regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the maintenance team to meet performance targets.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects focused on equipment performance, plant efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Support plant expansion, new equipment installation, and engineering improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in plant maintenance and engineering, preferably in flour milling, food processing, FMCG or similar manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of leading maintenance teams and managing large‑scale industrial assets.
