Head of Marketing – Automobile

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead brand‑building and marketing initiatives for a reputable automobile company in Kathmandu. The role requires a well‑connected professional with strong media, press, and industry relationships to drive visibility and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute overall marketing and brand strategies for the automobile business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, journalists, press, automotive media, and influencers.
• Manage PR activities, press releases, media coverage, interviews, product launches, and media events.
• Plan and execute digital, social media, ATL/BTL, events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate product launches, dealer events, test‑drive campaigns, and other marketing activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and automotive industry developments.
• Collaborate with sales and dealer teams to support lead generation and business growth.
• Manage marketing agencies, media partners, and external stakeholders.
• Track marketing performance, budgets, ROI, and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Strong experience in automobile marketing (highly preferred).
• Proven media and press relationships are mandatory.
• Extensive network with journalists, media houses, automotive publications, and influencers.
• Experience in PR, brand management, campaigns, events, and digital marketing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Creative, strategic, proactive, and result‑oriented mindset.
