Head of Production & Quality Control

About the role

The Head of Production & Quality Control leads all manufacturing and quality activities, ensuring that production meets sales demand while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards. The role oversees planning, execution, pest control, labor management and cross‑functional coordination to deliver consistent, compliant products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily, weekly and monthly production plans aligned with sales forecasts.
• Monitor batch‑wise production for accuracy, traceability and adherence to standards.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures for raw materials, in‑process checks and finished‑goods inspections.
• Investigate quality issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Approve incoming raw materials and ensure proper storage and handling of both raw and finished products.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, warehouse and logistics to guarantee uninterrupted production and timely dispatch.
• Supervise pest‑control activities and enforce food‑safety, hygiene and sanitation protocols.
• Plan labor allocation, monitor productivity, and collaborate with HR on onboarding and compliance.
• Maintain batch manufacturing records, quality documentation and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production and quality functions within a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
