Head of Sales, Distribution & Operations

About the role

The Head – Sales, Distribution & Operations leads the company’s sales strategy, channel management and day‑to‑day distribution activities. Based in Gulariya, the role blends on‑site presence with hybrid flexibility to drive market penetration and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans, manage distributor and retailer relationships, and optimise route‑to‑market coverage.
• Oversee inventory planning, order fulfilment and coordination with logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead, mentor and performance‑manage sales and operations teams, establishing processes and KPIs.
• Analyse market data to support budgeting, forecasting and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience in sales and commercial leadership within distribution or FMCG/trading businesses.
• Proven expertise in distribution and operations management, including route‑to‑market planning and inventory oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to build high‑performing teams and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field; master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools such as spreadsheets.
• Experience using CRM or sales reporting systems.
