About the role

The Horticulturist will work on a contract basis for SRIYOG, based in Kathmandu with a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves planning, developing, and maintaining landscaped areas, gardens, and green spaces for client sites, ensuring healthy plant growth and attractive environments.

Key responsibilities

Assess soil and plant health, select appropriate species, and design planting layouts.
Supervise routine gardening and landscape maintenance activities, including irrigation scheduling and pest/disease monitoring.
Coordinate with project managers and clients, prepare brief site condition reports, and support landscape improvement plans.

Required profile

Practical experience in gardening, landscape maintenance, and commercial or institutional landscaping projects.
Knowledge of botany, landscaping design, and sustainable horticultural practices.
Ability to conduct site assessments, monitor plant health, and manage multiple tasks independently.
