Host - Housekeeping

About the role

As a Host – Housekeeping at Hyatt Centric Kathmandu, you will ensure guests receive a consistently high level of service while maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel’s public areas and rooms. The role combines front‑of‑house hospitality with back‑of‑house cleaning duties, requiring a courteous and professional attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and tidying of assigned guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces according to Hyatt standards.
• Welcome guests, respond to their requests promptly, and provide information about hotel services.
• Report any maintenance issues or inventory needs to the appropriate department.
• Maintain proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or professional certification in Hospitality or Tourism management (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel operations or housekeeping.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques.
