Hotel General Manager – Operations & Guest Experience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to lead daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive profitability across all hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations and maintain high standards of guest service.
• Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Security teams.
• Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate staff members.
• Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards and local regulations.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Monitor occupancy, room rates and operational performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve guest experience and operational efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in hotel operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
