Job description

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, handling invoicing, payment verification, billing, petty cash, and inventory entries while ensuring accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and process invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Verify payments and supporting documents for compliance.
  • Manage billing activities and maintain customer billing records.
  • Record and reconcile petty cash transactions.
  • Enter and maintain inventory records in the accounting system.
  • Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial documentation.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end accounting activities.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree (currently pursuing or completed) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, billing, invoicing or related finance functions.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience with invoicing, billing and payment verification processes.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems.
