Junior Finance Officer

About the role

The Junior Finance Officer will support the finance team in daily accounting operations at the head office in Chapali, Budhanilkantha. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with financial transactions, reporting, and compliance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions such as sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, supporting documents and perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, payment vouchers, receipts and journal entries using accounting software/ERP.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing and tax documentation (VAT, TDS).
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, and provide records for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of practical experience in accounting or finance.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
