Logistics Manager

About the role

Himalaya Organization is looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to lead and optimise its logistics and supply‑chain operations in Pokhara, Nepal. The role involves overseeing transportation, warehousing, inventory and distribution to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and optimise end‑to‑end logistics and supply‑chain processes.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation to meet delivery schedules.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control and stock movement.
• Monitor logistics costs and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transporters, suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and government regulations.
• Prepare logistics plans, reports and performance analyses.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, finance and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
• Resolve logistics‑related issues and drive process improvements.
• Lead, supervise and develop the logistics team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing logistics, transportation or warehouse operations.
• Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to lead, supervise and develop a logistics team.
• Excellent coordination skills across multiple internal departments.
