About the role
Machhapuchchhre IB World School in Lalitpur, Nepal is seeking a dedicated Middle School Teacher to deliver Computer Science 1 and English 1 to students aged 11‑14. The role is part of a progressive, IB‑aligned curriculum that aims to develop change‑makers through respectful and inclusive education.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the Nepal National Curriculum and IB standards.
- Assess student learning, record results and report academic progress to parents and school leadership.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance instructional quality and share best practices.
- Participate in school meetings, extracurricular programs and professional‑development activities.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the middle‑school level.
