Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Procurement Officer to manage end‑to‑end procurement and purchasing activities for construction materials, equipment, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Research and identify reliable vendors and conduct regular market surveys to ensure competitive pricing.
• Obtain, compare, and evaluate quotations based on price, quality, specifications, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
• Prepare cost comparisons, Purchase Orders (POs), and procurement reports.
• Maintain accurate purchase and vendor details in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with project/site teams, stores, and accounts regarding purchasing requirements.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery and local purchases to avoid project delays.
• Monitor stock levels and supplier performance while maintaining complete procurement records.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and identify opportunities for cost savings and alternative sourcing.
