Project-Based Consultant Chef – Weekend/Flexible Hours

About the role
Da Aloo is looking for an experienced consultant chef to join the team on a project basis, working weekends or flexible evening blocks. The consultant will define core kitchen systems, lock in menu standards, and ensure fast‑food quality and speed.
Key responsibilities
- Standardize recipes: cost out, refine, and lock exact portions for signature potato dishes, rolls, burgers, and Mo:Mo.
- Create SOPs: draft step‑by‑step preparation guides, holding‑time manuals, and hygiene checklists.
- Optimize line efficiency: design workflow and station layouts for peak‑hour speed.
- Staff training: conduct hands‑on "train‑the‑trainer" sessions on quality, speed, and portion control.
Required profile
- Strong background in fast‑food or high‑volume casual dining operations.
- Proven experience in menu development, kitchen ergonomics, and recipe costing.
- Ability to work on‑site in Lalitpur during weekends or flexible evening blocks.
- Excellent communication skills for training kitchen crew.
