About the role
RS Building Design is seeking a motivated Architect or Civil Engineer to take on a Project Coordinator role. You will move beyond repetitive design work and focus on managing and coordinating residential projects for Australian clients, ensuring smooth workflow from permit application to final delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all projects in the system, keeping progress and submissions up‑to‑date.
- Handle and coordinate the building permit application process, preparing and submitting council documents, reports, and applications.
- Enter new jobs based on client briefs, brief the design team, and follow up with clients for missing information.
- Maintain accurate digital filing and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Track project progress, monitor deadlines, and update statuses in ClickUp.
- Identify discrepancies in job submissions and communicate them to relevant team members.
- Answer and manage professional phone calls in English with Australian clients.
