Project Officer – Adolescent Sexual & Reproductive Health

About the role

The Project Officer will lead day‑to‑day implementation, coordination, monitoring and reporting of the Advancing Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) project in Solukhumbu District. The role works closely with schools, health facilities, local governments and community groups to ensure project outputs are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project activities according to approved workplans, budgets and log‑frames, coordinating with schools, health facilities, SMCs, PTAs and community groups.
• Facilitate CSE training for teachers, orientation for health workers and mentoring of peer educators, ensuring inclusive, age‑appropriate delivery.
• Maintain strong coordination with rural municipalities, district health offices and partner organisations, organising meetings and advocating for resource allocation.
• Collect, verify and report project data, conduct regular field monitoring visits, and support baseline and end‑line assessments.
• Support parent and community engagement activities, promote safeguarding mechanisms and GEDSI‑sensitive approaches.

Required profile

• At least 24 months (2 years) of relevant experience in project implementation, monitoring or community health.
• Willingness to travel regularly to field sites in remote mountainous areas and work onsite at the Phaplu field office.
