QC Executive – Microbiologist

About the role

The company seeks a proactive QC Executive – Microbiologist to lead microbiological quality‑control activities at its nutraceutical manufacturing plant. You will ensure product safety by performing testing, monitoring the environment, and maintaining laboratory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products, including sterility, microbial limit, and pathogen analyses.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of air, surfaces, and water in production and laboratory areas, documenting results and reporting excursions.
• Prepare, sterilize, label, store, and control culture media and reagents according to approved procedures.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment such as autoclaves and incubators, keeping accurate maintenance records.
• Maintain complete, legible documentation of test results, worksheets, logbooks, and reports.
• Investigate deviations and support contamination‑control measures to meet quality and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in microbiological quality‑control testing.
• Familiarity with GMP and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
