Remote TypeScript Engineer (Hourly Contractor)

About the role

SME Careers is seeking a remote TypeScript Engineer to work on an hourly contractor basis. You will review AI‑generated TypeScript snippets, design proposals, and technical explanations, while also creating high‑quality reference solutions and prompts that improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and responses across diverse topics.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases, ensuring reliability across use cases.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional TypeScript experience.
• Expertise in advanced TypeScript features such as generics, interfaces, and utility types.
• Strong proficiency with a major frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue.js) or backend runtime (Node.js with Express or NestJS).
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented and functional programming concepts and common design patterns.
• Experience with Git and standard version‑control workflows.
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken).
