Retail Export Sales & Business Development Manager

About the role

The Retail Export Sales & Business Development Manager will ensure an excellent customer experience across both retail and export channels, from first contact through purchase, delivery, after‑sales service and repeat business. Reporting to the General Manager, the role bridges sales, retail, operations, finance and logistics to drive growth and long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee retail store sales performance, set and monitor targets, and train store teams.
• Analyze store metrics, improve footfall, average purchase value and repeat customers.
• Identify and evaluate locations for new store openings and support launch activities.
• Generate qualified international B2B leads, contact importers, distributors and private‑label buyers.
• Prepare quotations, coordinate samples, pricing, packaging, certifications and logistics.
• Negotiate and convert leads into confirmed export orders, maintaining an up‑to‑date sales pipeline.
• Develop existing export customers to generate repeat orders and drive overall revenue growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in retail, export or B2B environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Result‑oriented mindset with proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Comfortable managing multiple leads independently.
• Two‑wheeler vehicle with a valid driving licence.
