Sales Officer – Snacks Segment

About the role

The Sales Officer – Snacks Segment is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Pokhara. You will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales of snack products within the assigned territory, working directly with retailers, wholesalers and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales of snack products across the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular market visits to retailers, wholesalers and distribution partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Execute channel sales strategies to increase product visibility and volume.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, handle inquiries and resolve service issues.
• Ensure timely order processing and coordinate deliveries.
• Monitor competitor activities and prepare basic sales reports.
• Collaborate with the sales operations team to meet targets and support promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills for building retailer and distributor relationships.
• Experience in lead generation and sales operations to identify and follow up on prospects.
• Proven channel sales experience within the snacks or FMCG segment.
• Basic numerical and reporting abilities to track performance and prepare summaries.
• Knowledge of FMCG or snack products, with prior field‑sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in the field, meet targets and adapt to a fast‑moving market.
• Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the local Pokhara market dynamics and proficiency in local languages and English.
